We are Different

Learning another language involves exercising different mental muscles being comfortable in new environments, taking on risks, making mistakes ultimately building self-confidence.

Volunteer Opportunities

Not only do we teach our students English but we also teach them to be global citizens starting at home first. We invite our students to engage in volunteer activities whenever the occasion rises whether it be helping a friend in need, the elderly in our community or responding to those impacted by a natural disaster. This platform allows our students to take initiative in serving others and build self-confidence.

Intercultural Experiences

Throughout the year we have friends from different parts of the world that visit us in Kagoshima with the desire to interact with our community. Our students get the unique opportunity to interact with various people with different cultural backgrounds.

Travel Abroad (USA)

Every two years our students have the opportunity to spend two weeks in America. Our first trip in 2022 (pictured above) we took 9 of our students to our home in Kentucky where they all had their own home and family participating in American family life for two weeks. Many of our students maintain those relationships with their host families in America to this very day.
