Community Support

In times of need you will find us supporting those around us and providing aid for people in times of need in our region, throughout Japan and in other countries.

Whether it’s helping elderly in our neighborhood, providing natural disaster relief or providing safe passage for refugees in war torn countries we feel it’s our responsibility to come along side others.

In 2019 we provided supplies and sent volunteered support to a town in Saitama hit hard by Typhoon 19 (Hagibis), the strongest to hit mainland, Japan in decades

In 2021, we launched an after school program - CASA to provide support to the local school system struggling to find space for kids to go after school due to the influx of new students.

In 2022, our community supported a family of six escaping their war torn home - Ukraine. We also worked with city officials to assist with other Ukrainians that arrived in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Throughout the years we have visited with elderly living alone and provided meals to those living off of government assistance.
